Social media, in my opinion, refers to the interactive use of web-based technology to allow the sharing and consumption of ideas, viewpoints, and information through the creation of virtual networks and communities. For many firms, the advent of social media has radically altered the competitive landscape. When used recklessly and improperly, it has the potential to stifle, hurt, or even destroy one's professional and personal life. However, when utilized wisely, social media sites and platforms may help leaders grow their businesses by allowing members to build and nurture ties and alliances, as well as share information to increase their exposure and credibility. By following significant entities, policymakers, and experts, they also give an opportunity to broaden one's knowledge and awareness of current events and trends. If I had a Facebook account, I would only add my true friends who I have met in person. The reason for this is that, in my opinion, broadcasting current location information to strangers who accepted your request on Facebook is a red flag. You have no knowledge whether you are...
