Learning Journal 9 on Ecosystem and eWOM:lj9
This is your 9th learning journal assignment. Use your
blog to post your 'learning journal" essays. In this post I want you to
respond to the Readings for Module 13. Think of this week’s readings as a
whole.
Respond to your readings of the past week.
What did you think of them?
Somethings you might want to address: how does knowing
this affect your personal use of social media and/or the internet, how might
knowing this affect your use of social media as entertainment, do you have
ideas about the ethics of this, and/or other things i haven't listed.
Do you use EWOM to pick products to buy, what to watch or
listen to, place to go etc...?
Shockley, I do utilize electronic word of mouth(EWOM) to
purchase all of my online products from unfamiliar ecommerce sources to ensure
the quality is worth the wait to receive the product with out physically
touching the security camera , for example.
Do you feel more influenced by celebrities, social media
stars, or your friends and family members' opinions?
I noticed that my concern of obtaining faulty items
influenced my curiosity to seek these charitable services from family members
to support their journey in life, to have a deeper understanding of how the
product values aligned with my family members company's ethical ideals of
"high quality product service." Other people's experiences on YouTube
with the number of views had to be reliable and have an emotional beneficial
influence on myself and social wellness. For me to participate in web-based
technologies because they have created numerous opportunities for electronic
word-of-mouth (eWOM) communication on YouTube, the product must be a phenomenon
that has influenced the vast majority of positive reviews from online social
media users and retailers in the past. But since it is for my family, I usually
buy their homemade products such as, candles, paintings, glass sculptures and
other edible products to support their financial calling in life.
What are your thoughts about the social media ecosystem?
My observations on the social media ecosystem concentrate at
how technology may help individual consumers follow current trends. Researchers
and market analysis data technologists collaborate with large corporations to
benefit from using intelligent marketing messaging, community
telecommunications platforms, and the influence of others' opinions on the
current product to purchase more products. Creating a buyer-seller cycle that
never ends. Every second, billions of connections of eager social media users
search for the next trend to debate, developing a "blackhole" marketing
artificial intelligence strategy system. As technology progresses tremendously
in the next years, these linkages encourage relationships, resulting in a
massive social network ecological loop that no one can stop.
Hi Avery,
ReplyDeleteI like your take on the social media ecosystem, everyone now a days follows mostly all the trends out there and it influences them to buy products and it does become a never ending cycle.
